Introducing: Augenium

From 30 October 2026, ClearVue will begin trading as Augenium. It is the same team, the same technology, and the same commitment to net zero buildings. What has changed is the name, and there is a good story behind why.

When the Company started out, the focus was clear, energy-generating glass. That is still at the heart of what the Company does, but the business has grown a long way beyond windows. Today Augenium delivers a full building envelope solution: energy generation, thermal performance, engineering and compliance, all working together. A name built around glass no longer told the whole story.

There was a practical reason too. As the Company has expanded into new international markets, protecting the ClearVue name consistently across those markets and product categories became harder to do. A new name gave the business the chance to secure that protection properly, right as it scales.

So why Augenium? The name blends two ideas: aura, and the Latin ingenium, meaning natural talent, skill and invention. Put together, they capture what the Company aims to be: a specialist in advanced building materials and engineered solutions, built on technical skills.

Alongside the new name comes AURE, a mark that ties the whole story together. “Au” comes from Augenium, and “RE” stands for renewable energy, the reason the business exists in the first place. It also reflects Augenium’s positioning as a specialist in advanced building materials, linking the mark directly to what the Company now makes. Together, AURE is shorthand for both the Company and its mission.
